No compromises. No shortcuts. A brilliantly executed community. A better way of life.
Frederica Development Group, LLC is owned by Huizenga Holdings.
After their first visit, Wayne and Marti Huizenga fell in love with Frederica. Their first drive through the gate, into this one of a kind community amoungst a beautiful maritime forest, convinced them to purchase a home along with the Club and remaining real estate.
Previous community developments by Mr. Huizenga include The Floridian Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida and Diamond Creek Golf Club in Banner Elk, North Carolina. Owning a club is for special people who have a true sense of community and the vision of creating a truly remarkable Club and community experience. Both Wayne and Marti loved the natural feel of Frederica, almost as if it had been "untouched".
Among his remarkable achievements, Wayne Huizenga has founded and sat as Chairman and CEO of numerous public companies, including Waste Management, Inc., Blockbuster, Inc., AutoNation, Inc., Extended Stay America, Inc., Boca Resorts, Inc. and Republic Services, Inc.. He has also been owner and Chairman of the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League, the Florida Marlins of Major League Baseball and the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League.
The peaceful transformation into Frederica's natural beauty and Southern elegance still exists today for the Huizenga family and a few lucky residents who call Frederica home. The Huizenga family invites you to consider ownership in Frederica.
"The first time we set foot on Frederica, we knew it was something incredibly special and something we wanted to be a part of. It's not just another coastal community: it's a place that combines incredible natural beauty with a rich and meaningful history. And the development itself is spectacular. Every detail has been considered and no expense spared. From the golf couse to the stables to the boathouse to the clubhouse and the homes themselves, Frederica is the best of the best. No compromsises and no shortcuts. And in a place like this - so beautiful and so unique - that's really the way it needs to be."
